Holdens Funeral Service

June, my mother in law requested we instruct Holdens. We knew it was a part of Dixons and I have liaised with Abi at Dixons many many times in my role in the Coroners office and before that so I knew we were entrusted her care to the best. Emma at holdens what can I say she was so accommodating so friendly and really made us put the sadness aside for a while. The funeral was no exception with Abi being part so all I can say is if you are looking for love kindness compassion and professionalism then look no further

From the very first meeting, Emma got to know our family, in a very friendly and professional manner, treating us with empathy, respect, kind and caring. Always listening to our requests, advising us and pointing us in the right direction. Nothing was too much trouble, always available and if not, returned calls, email promptly. Emma made sure that Fred/Dad was smartly dressed for any viewings as he was a very proud man and also advised us when she thought, it would not be advisable as we would not have the same memories of him. We were allowed to put items, letters photo's in Dads casket, which brought us a lot of comfort. We had a greater manchester fire and rescue flag, helmets and cap to honour him for his years in the service, which Emma placed on and around his casket, with as much pride as we had. Emma and Holdens did an outstanding service, that helped the whole family deal with the sad passing of a husband, father, grandad, great grandad and great great grandad. After recently saying goodbye to my Mum, we contacted Holden's as per Mum's choice and we are certainly glad we did. From first phone call, they were a caring team. Emma was the lovely lady who supported us during the arrangements and the funeral and throughout she has been caring, supportive snd easy to talk to. Nothing was too much trouble. It made a difficult task much easier to bear. We also trusted Emma to design and arrange the floral tributes and wow, we weren't disappointed. From a brief discussion about our wishes and a single photo, she created stunning arrangements which were just gorgeous and so fitting for our Mum. The choice of flowers was amazing. Thank you Emma

My mum sadly passed unexpectedly she had laid her brother to rest and spoke of his Holden's who arranged her brothers funeral saying how lovely the lady was so for us Holden's would be where mum would want to go, Emma went over and above the funeral was seamless the empathy, care, compassion shown blew us away as a family I also arranged flowers with Emma and they where truly stunning. With the solid help from Emma I truly know my mum will be looking down with pride at how beautiful the full day was I'll forever be grateful for Holden's for helping me through the process and producing a perfect day Thank you so much

Following a long hard struggle concerning the medical and nursing neglect of my husband, who finally passed on 31st May 25 … which is a massive loss to me, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren… However, this extremely difficult time has been made more bearable with the support from Emma (King ) .. she truly is an angel xx I am a retired nurse of 35 years and have struggled to get the justice my husband deserves … Emma has been so supportive and a kindred spirit throughout all of this .. I am so glad that I chose Holdens .. thank you Emma, you are a credit to the company, your profession and most of all your family xx

I cannot put in to words how amazing Holdens are. From the initial phone call, Emma made everything so much easier. She was compassionate and supportive through the organising and after. No request or question was too much her. The minister she recommended was perfectly suited to us. On the day Emma and her team were fantastic showing patience and kindness. We were a pall bearer short and both her drivers were ready and eager to help and supported us during the service, which was perfect. I cannot recommend Holdens and Emma enough.
